Please note that Threads currently isn’t available to everyone. However, once available, you can check your activity and notifications about your profile and posts by doing the following:
- Open the Threads app.
- Tap ‘like’ at the bottom to view activity and notifications related to your profile and posts.
- Here you’ll find a list of activities including who liked or replied to your posts and who followed or mentioned you.
- Tap the categories at the top to filter the activity list.
- If you have a private profile, you’ll also see follow requests. Tap the request to view the requester’s profile and accept their follow request if you want.
Managing Notifications for Followed Accounts on Threads
To manage notifications for someone you follow on Threads, follow these steps:
- Tap ‘profile’ in the bottom right to go to your profile.
- Tap ‘Followers’ below your profile info, then tap ‘Following’ at the top.
- Search for the profile you want to manage notifications for, then tap their account name to go to their profile.
- Tap ‘notifications’ in the top right of their profile to manage the settings.
You can also manage notifications by searching for a profile:
- Tap ‘search’ at the bottom.
- Type the name of the person you want to manage notifications for in the search bar at the top.
- Tap the search button in the bottom right of your keyboard.
- Tap on their account name to go to their profile.
- Tap ‘notifications’ in the top right of their profile.
Managing Push Notifications on Threads
To manage push notifications on Threads:
- Tap ‘profile’ in the bottom right to go to your profile.
- Tap ‘settings’ in the top right.
- Tap ‘notifications’.
- Select the notification category you want to change (example: Threads and replies, Following and followers).
- Scroll to the notification type you want to manage and tap ‘select’ to the right of the option you want to select (example: Off, From people you follow, From everyone).
Pausing Push Notifications on Threads
To pause push notifications:
- Tap ‘profile’ in the bottom right to go to your profile.
- Tap ‘settings’ in the top right.
